Cybersecurity Expert (m/f/d) Automotive

Tasks

• Contribute to development projects in the field of e‑mobility (e.g., onboard chargers, DC/DC systems)

• Plan, implement, and maintain cybersecurity standards according to ISO 21434

• Advise project teams on security‑related topics

• Analyze customer requirements and internal specifications

• Conduct threat and risk assessments (TARA)

• Develop cybersecurity concepts for product design and production processes

• Support the selection and integration of security‑relevant components and technologies

• Provide guidance on security implementations (e.g., AUTOSAR security, secure onboard communication, HSM integration)

• Advise on validation and verification methods (e.g., fuzzing, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing)

• Prepare cybersecurity cases

• Support product cybersecurity assessments together with the development team

Profile

• Degree in computer science, IT security, engineering informatics, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, or similar

• Several years of professional experience in cybersecurity, ideally in the automotive sector

• Strong knowledge of relevant standards (ISO 21434, UNECE R155, SAE J3061)

• Expertise in cryptography, signature methods, hardware security modules, incident response, and certificate management

• Strong analytical and conceptual skills

• Team‑oriented mindset and excellent communication skills

• Structured, independent, and solution‑driven working style

• Willingness to travel occasionally

• Very good English skills; German skills beneficial
