We are seeking an experienced engineer who develops modern embedded Linux platforms, enhances existing software architectures, and contributes to innovative solutions within international teams.

  • Development and enhancement of embedded Linux software for long‑life systems

  • Analysis of existing components and implementation of sustainable improvements

  • Creation of technical specifications and coordination with internal and external stakeholders

  • Planning, execution, and documentation of software and system tests

  • Development of test concepts and automated test procedures

  • Contribution to architecture and concept decisions in globally connected teams

Profile

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or similar

  • At least 5 years of experience in embedded software development

  • Strong skills in C/C++ and additional experience in Python, Rust, or JavaScript

  • Experience with Linux build systems (e.g., Yocto‑based)

  • Knowledge of secure boot, boot‑time optimization, real‑time extensions, and container technologies

  • Excellent German skills and good English skills

  • Structured, independent, and collaborative working style
