Tasks

Your Responsibilities as an Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d):

As an experienced Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d), you will shape the future of innovative products in the fields of medical technology, analytical and laboratory technology, and photonics. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Development and implementation of embedded software solutions in C/C++, considering real-time operating systems.
• Collaboration in interdisciplinary teams for the conception and implementation of new product features.
• Analysis and optimization of existing software architectures for maximum performance and reliability.
• Creation of technical documentation and execution of tests to ensure product quality.
• Close cooperation with hardware and system engineers for seamless software integration.
• Contribution to the further development of our agile development processes.

Profile

Your Profile for This Exciting Challenge:

We are looking for a dedicated individual with a passion for sophisticated embedded systems and a solid educational background. Ideally, you bring the following:

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification.
• Proven experience in embedded software development with C/C++.
• Good knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Experience in medical technology or related industries is a plus.
• Very good German language skills (at least C1) for smooth communication within the team and with stakeholders.
• Good English language skills (at least B2) for technical documentation and international coordination.
• A structured and analytical approach to work, along with strong problem-solving skills.
• Teamwork ability and the willingness to learn new technologies.
