Tasks

We are looking for an experienced engineer who develops modern embedded software solutions, enhances existing systems, and contributes to innovative technology concepts within an international development environment.

• Develop firmware and embedded software for microcontroller‑based systems

• Create embedded software specifications and software architectures

• Maintain, analyze, and further develop existing embedded software systems

• Evaluate and elaborate innovative technology and product ideas

• Improve and administer internal tools for embedded software development

• Collaborate across locations and teams to define embedded software concepts

Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or similar field

• At least 5 years of experience in microcontroller programming

• Solid understanding of hardware‑related development and microcontroller circuits

• Strong programming skills in C and C++

• Ideally experience with industrial communication systems (e.g., PROFINET, EtherCAT)

• Knowledge in cybersecurity is an advantage

• Excellent German skills and good English skills
