Tasks

  • Develop mechanical components and assemblies from concept to series production for datacenter power systems and e‑mobility applications.

  • Extensive use of engineering tools, especially CAD systems (Creo) for mechanical design and FEM tools for structural and thermal analysis.

  • Prepare, review and release technical documentation such as detailed drawings, assembly drawings and bills of materials.

  • Collaborate with electrical engineering, EMI specialists, winding component teams, layout engineering and procurement.

  • Coordinate with international manufacturing sites, particularly in Asia, to ensure production‑ready implementation.

  • Present mechanical concepts to internal stakeholders and customers and support evaluation of manufacturing concepts.

  • Contribute to the optimization of manufacturing processes and automated production.

Profile

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with strong knowledge in materials, tolerance analysis, thermodynamics and FEM.

  • Strong proficiency in CAD systems, especially Creo (mandatory).

  • Experience with FEM tools for evaluating mechanical and thermal behavior.

  • Ideally experience with SAP for managing technical data and bills of materials.

  • Advantageous: experience with manufacturing processes, automation and aluminum die‑casting.

  • Strong German and English skills and willingness to travel internationally.
