DiNC-POSiTiVE – We are expanding our project team and are looking for additional support. Location focus: Ruhr Area. Work mode: Hybrid. Engagement: Vollzeit.
Note: You can find the full master posting here: Open master job.
The Ruhr Area area usually combines reachability and day-to-day livability, which helps onboarding and stable collaboration across project phases. During high-pressure phases, short distances often translate into real productivity gains.
In and around Ruhr Area, you typically see a mix of mid-sized industry, engineering providers and specialized tech teams, which creates steady demand for Engineering skills. Best impact usually comes from combining engineering with strong process discipline (DoD, reviews, traceability).
In Ruhr Area, pragmatic doers are often valued: people who stabilize structures and help teams ship reliably. With experience in comparable environments, you can create value quickly.
For our client, a renowned and forward‑thinking company in Ruhr Area, we are recruiting a Hardware RF Expert (m/f/d) as part of a direct placement process.
In this role, you will contribute to the development of advanced RF systems for access technologies, wireless communication, and automotive electronics. You will work across the entire development cycle — from feasibility to series readiness.
Design and development of RF circuits and wireless systems (e.g., UWB, BLE, NFC) for international applications
Creation of analysis and evaluation scripts (preferably Python) from feasibility studies to application maturity
Full responsibility for hardware development, system integration, and validation
Execution, coordination, and documentation of development‑related tests, including integration and validation in test vehicles
Preparation of technical documentation (simulations, worst‑case calculations, specifications, interface descriptions)
Technical presentations and alignment with internal and external stakeholders
Research and evaluation of current and emerging electronic component technologies
Analysis of internal specifications, customer requirements, and regulatory standards
Support of certification and approval processes
Collaboration with international engineering teams
Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field (PhD welcome)
Several years of experience in RF circuit design, simulation, and measurement, including antenna development
Strong knowledge of electromagnetic field theory, RF simulation, wireless communication standards, RF validation, and radio approvals
Hands‑on experience with RF measurement equipment (e.g., VNAs, spectrum analyzers, antenna measurement systems)
Experience in EMC‑compliant design and simulation tools
Preferred: Experience in radar technologies, especially UWB
Excellent programming skills (ideally Python) for radar signal processing and measurement automation
Structured working style, strong communication skills, and ability to work in teams
Willingness to travel
Automotive experience is a plus
Value‑driven company culture focused on innovation, reliability, and collaboration
Attractive employment conditions including at least 30 days of vacation and performance‑based compensation
Flexible working hours and mobile‑work options
Comprehensive onboarding, training opportunities, and international career development
Modern workplace, pension schemes, bike leasing, and various corporate benefits
Sustainable mindset with a focus on efficient electronics and energy solutions
