Tasks

In this pivotal role, you will guide complex development projects from initial analysis to series production, ensuring compliance with the highest automotive quality standards.

• Taking responsibility for quality in development and series projects (APQP)

• Creating and monitoring quality management plans and testing concepts, including handover to series quality assurance

• Conducting feasibility assessments for both products and processes

• Developing functional specifications based on requirement analyses and risk assessments during the bidding phase

• Planning and performing internal and external process audits

• Collaborating on Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and conducting risk analyses

• Coordinating customer complaints, including processing and tracking the implementation of corrective actions

• Defining corrective measures with Production, R&D, and suppliers based on root cause analysis

• Approving or blocking products and processes within assigned projects

• Generating 8D reports and PPAP/ISIR documentation (according to VDA standards)

Profile

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

• Several years of professional experience in a similar quality role, ideally within the automotive industry

• Proficiency in automotive quality tools and standards (VDA, APQP, PPAP)

• Intercultural competence and willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20%)

• Proactive, goal-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills

• Fluent in German and proficient in English
