Tasks

• Independently coordinate and manage technical components and development scopes with automotive customers from concept phase through series production.
• Participate in technical coordination meetings, packaging reviews, SE teams, and cross-functional engineering discussions.
• Support and coordinate prototype and sample builds, including technical documentation and implementation activities.
• Create, optimize, and maintain 3D CAD models and production-ready 2D drawings while considering functional, geometrical, and manufacturing-related requirements.
• Design plastic-compatible components using advanced surface and structural design methodologies.
• Ensure timely release and approval of components and assemblies according to project milestones and quality standards.
• Coordinate testing setups, validation procedures, and technical verification activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support component validation processes until final approval with a focus on quality, deadlines, and technical traceability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering, validation, and release processes within development projects.

Profile

• Successfully completed degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, plastics engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Initial professional experience in engineering, design, or technical project coordination within the automotive industry.
• Understanding of automotive development and release processes as well as collaboration with OEMs or suppliers is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of plastic-oriented component design and technical engineering requirements.
• Solid experience with CATIA V5 for creating 3D models and technical 2D drawings.
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style combined with strong technical understanding.
• Strong communication skills and confident appearance in technical coordination meetings and interdisciplinary project environments.
• High level of commitment, quality awareness, and enthusiasm for innovative automotive engineering projects.
• Good German language skills and the ability to understand complex technical development processes.
