Track record & project highlights

Developed a mm-wave leaky-wave antenna with beam steering from -30° to +46° across 55–95 GHz featuring suppressed open-stop band and reduced grating lobe. Designed and analyzed a dual-port leaky-wave antenna integrated heterodyne receiver using subharmonic mixing with RF/LO/IF filter and matching co-design for signal isolation and steerable front-end operation. Developed and evaluated a C-band leaky-wave antenna on planar and curved surfaces focusing on conformal installation performance. Designed and simulated an integrated lens-based bow-tie antenna for W- and D-band applications with stable high gain and lens-based beam steering. Developed passive metasurfaces as anomalous reflectors for 5G mm-wave beam steering in the 27.5–29.5 GHz band. Investigated intelligent metasurfaces integrated with active materials for reconfigurable beam steering functionalities. Designed and validated RF filters, wideband dividers and compact high-isolation power divider/combiner structures. Performed RF system-level analysis including link budget calculations, propagation modeling and performance evaluation under realistic conditions.
